S/FTP patch kabel Cat.5e ROLINE 21.15.0351 rdeč 3m

The ROLINE S/FTP Patch Cord Cat.5e ROLINE 21.15.0351 Red 3m is a 3-meter networking patch cable designed for reliable data connections between devices. It uses a prepared double-shielded twisted pair construction with screened RJ-45 connectors on both ends and gold-plated contacts. The cable has moulded kink protection and flexible insulation to support narrow bends while maintaining durability.

Advantages

This Cat.5e S/FTP patch cord provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference thanks to its full braid shielding and aluminium-clad polyester foil. Gold-plated contacts ensure stable signal transfer and corrosion resistance. The molded strain relief increases longevity, and the flexible stranded copper conductor supports easy routing in confined spaces. Contact wiring follows the EIA/TIA 568 1:1 standard for straightforward installation.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and network sockets in office or home networks
• Patch panels and server racks where flexible, shielded cabling is required
• Short-distance Ethernet connections up to Cat.5e performance requirements

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of the device you want to connect and the other into the corresponding port on a switch, router or wall socket. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure connection. Route the cable without sharp bends and avoid tight pinching to preserve shielding and conductor integrity. For best performance, keep the cable away from large sources of electromagnetic interference where possible.

Recommendations

Use this S/FTP Cat.5e patch cord for short-distance Ethernet links requiring shielding, such as connections near equipment that may generate interference. For network segments needing higher bandwidth or future-proofing, consider Cat.6 or Cat.6a shielded alternatives.
