The EFB Elektronik OFF-1866GR.V1RW is an 18U freestanding rack designed for efficient and secure storage of networking and electronic equipment. With external dimensions of 600 mm width, 600 mm depth and 871 mm height, this black rack offers a compact footprint while delivering a usable 18U mounting space. Rated IP20, it provides protection against solid objects and basic mechanical access, and its rated maximum load of 45 kg supports typical patch panels, small switches and other light-to-moderate rack-mounted devices.

Advantages

The OFF-1866GR.V1RW combines a compact design with a robust structure to deliver reliable support for rack-mounted equipment in home, office or small server-room environments. Its 18U capacity allows for tidy organization and cable management, while the black finish ensures a neutral appearance that integrates with existing furniture and network setups. An IP20 rating reduces risk from accidental contact with internal components and offers consistent physical protection where full environmental sealing is not required.

How to use

Place the freestanding rack on a stable, level surface and position it where access to power and network cabling is convenient. Install rack-mount equipment into the 18U frame using appropriate mounting rails and screws; ensure even weight distribution and avoid exceeding the 45 kg maximum load. Route cables through available openings or through the rear and side panels as appropriate, and secure wiring to prevent strain on connectors. For safety, leave adequate ventilation clearance around the enclosure and avoid placing heat-generating devices densely without active cooling.

Recommendations

To maximise service life and maintain safety, regularly inspect mountings and cable strain relief, distribute mounted equipment to balance weight across the rack, and adhere to the 45 kg load limit. Use appropriate earthing and follow local installation standards when connecting powered devices.
