SATA kabel Corsair CC-8900250 0,3 m

The Corsair CC-8900250 0.3m SATA cable is a short-length SATA III data cable designed for internal PC storage connections. It provides reliable 7-pin SATA connectivity for SSDs, HDDs and optical drives where a compact, high-speed link is required. The cable’s black and red colour scheme combines with a 0.3 m length to suit tight builds and compact cases while supporting SATA III transfer rates for efficient data access.

Advantages

This SATA III cable delivers stable data transfer through standardized 7-pin connectors and a short 0.3 m length that reduces cable clutter and signal degradation in cramped systems. The cable’s construction is intended for consistent contact and durable use when connecting modern storage devices. Its black and red finish provides a discreet yet distinctive look for internal cabling while maintaining compatibility with mainstream motherboards and drives.

Suitable for

• Connecting 2.5" SSDs to motherboard SATA ports in compact or space-constrained builds
• Linking 3.5" HDDs in desktop systems where a short cable run is preferred
• Installing optical drives or additional storage in small form factor (SFF) cases
• Replacing worn or lost internal SATA cables for stable SATA III performance

Key specifications

• Cable type: SATA III (Serial ATA Revision 3.x compatible)
• Cable length: 0.3 m
• Connectors: SATA 7-pin to SATA 7-pin
• Colour: Black and Red

How to use

Power off the PC and disconnect it from mains before installing the cable. Align the 7-pin SATA connector with the drive’s SATA data port and gently insert until it seats; repeat for the motherboard SATA port. Ensure the connector orientation matches the keyed plug to avoid forcing. After connecting, secure drives in their bays and route the cable to avoid sharp bends or tight kinks. Reconnect power and verify that the BIOS or operating system detects the connected storage device.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use this short 0.3 m SATA III cable for connections where minimal cable length reduces clutter and potential signal issues. Avoid excessive bending near the connectors and do not apply force when plugging in. Keep the cable away from high-power or high-interference components and replace the cable if connectors show wear or loose contact.
