SATA kabel DeLOCK 82493 50 cm rumen

This Delock SATA cable (82493) is a 50 cm yellow cable for connecting SATA devices such as SATA hard drives, SATA controllers and SATA flash memory. The cable follows the SATA II specification and supports data transfer rates up to 3 Gbps. Metal clips on the connectors provide additional snap-in retention and when connected to a hard drive the cable is oriented to the left.

Advantages

The cable supports SATA II transfer speeds up to 3 Gbps and includes metal clips on the connectors for secure retention. Its 50 cm length is suitable for compact installations and the yellow colour makes the cable easy to identify inside a system. The left-angled/straight connector combination allows tidy routing in tight spaces.

Suitable for

• Connecting internal SATA hard drives (HDD)
• Connecting SATA controllers or host adapters
• Connecting SATA flash memory devices or SSDs in confined spaces

Key specifications

• SATA specification: SATA II
• Maximum data transfer rate: up to 3 Gbps
• Length: 0.5 m (50 cm)
• Colour: yellow
• Connector type: left / straight
• Retention: metal clips on SATA connectors

How to use

Power off the system before connecting the cable. Insert the straight connector into the SATA port of the host/controller and the left-oriented connector into the SATA device (for example a HDD or SSD). Ensure the metal clips engage to secure the connection. After connecting, restore power and verify the device is recognized by the system.

Recommendations

Use this 50 cm SATA cable for internal connections inside desktop cases or small enclosures where a short, easily routed cable is required. Avoid bending the cable sharply near the connectors and route it to prevent interference with cooling fans. For optimal performance, use within the SATA II specification limits.
