USB zvezdišče EXSYS EX-1196HMS

The EXSYS EX-1196HMS is a metal USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.1 Gen 1) hub that supports data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps. It provides one USB-C upstream (host) port and seven downstream ports, including two USB-C and five USB-A connectors. The compact hub (113 × 61.5 × 36.3 mm) draws power from the USB connection and is compatible with common Windows and macOS systems. Built for office and automation environments, the EX-1196HMS meets special industrial application requirements and includes 15 kV ESD surge protection on all ports.

Advantages

The hub offers mixed Type-C and Type-A downstream ports for flexible device connections and supports full-featured USB-C on ports 1 and 4. With USB 3.2 Gen 1 performance (up to 5 Gbps) and metal housing, the unit provides robust data throughput and durable build quality. Integrated 15 kV ESD protection helps protect connected devices in environments with electrostatic risk. Its compact rack-friendly form factor allows aggregation of multiple peripherals without occupying significant space.

Suitable for

• Expanding USB connectivity on desktop PCs and laptops
• Connecting multiple USB 3.0 peripherals (external drives, cameras, scanners)
• Office workstations and automation systems requiring reliable USB ports
• Use in 19-inch rack setups where compact multiport hubs are needed

How to use

Connect the hub's upstream USB-C port to a compatible USB-C host port on your computer. After the host recognizes the hub, connect downstream devices to the available USB-C or USB-A ports. For best performance, attach high-speed peripherals (external SSDs, cameras) to the USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports. No additional drivers are typically required for modern Windows and macOS systems; the hub is bus-powered and ready to use once the host provides power.

Recommendations

The hub supports connecting multiple external USB 3.0 devices, but combining many high-power or high-bandwidth peripherals may exceed the bus power or aggregate throughput. For sustained high-power devices or many simultaneous transfers, consider using a powered USB hub or connecting fewer high-demand devices at a time.
