Video kabel-adapter DeLOCK 85581

The DeLOCK 85581 video cable adapter connects an HDMI Type A (Standard) source to a DVI‑D display, enabling connection of an HDMI monitor or projector to a DVI output on a PC or laptop. The compact cable measures 0.5 m in length with a 7.3 mm diameter and is supplied in a single‑piece polybag in black colour.

Advantages

This DeLOCK video cable adapter provides a simple, passive connection between HDMI and DVI‑D interfaces without requiring external power. Its short 0.5 m length reduces cable clutter and the slim 7.3 mm profile makes it easy to route behind equipment. The black finish matches most AV setups and the single‑piece packaging is suitable for retail display or spare parts use.

Suitable for

• Connecting an HDMI monitor or projector to a DVI‑D output on a PC or laptop
• Short‑reach video connections where a 0.5 m cable is sufficient
• AV setups that require a compact, low‑profile cable

How to use

Connect the HDMI Type A plug to the HDMI source device and the DVI‑D connector to the display input. Ensure both devices are powered off or set to standby when making the connection if possible, then power them on and select the appropriate input on the monitor or projector. This passive adapter transmits video signals; audio will not be carried over DVI‑D.

Recommendations

Use this cable for short, direct connections between devices with HDMI and DVI‑D ports. Avoid excessive bending near the connectors and keep the cable length within 0.5 m for optimal signal integrity. If audio transmission is required, use a separate audio connection or an HDMI‑to‑HDMI cable.
