Vijak/sornik Fischer 670169

The Fischer 670169 screw/bolt is a zinc-finished fastening element designed for use with wood materials. Its corrosion-resistant zinc coating and robust construction make it suitable for a range of indoor wood-joining tasks where secure mechanical connection is required. The product is supplied in a compact package with a net weight of 2.37 kg and compact dimensions, allowing convenient storage and handling for trade and DIY projects.

Advantages

The zinc surface provides enhanced resistance to rust and wear, extending service life in normal indoor environments. Manufactured to consistent dimensional tolerances, the screw/bolt offers predictable thread engagement and reliable holding power in timber applications. The packaging size and weight support easy transport to job sites and tidy storage in workshops.

Suitable for

• Joining and fastening structural and non-structural wooden components
• Carpentry, furniture assembly and repair
• Indoor fittings where corrosion resistance and mechanical strength are required
• General maintenance tasks involving wood substrates

Key specifications

• Finish: zinc-coated for corrosion resistance
• Material: metal fastening element suitable for wood
• Package weight: 2.37 kg
• Package dimensions: approximately 230 mm (width) × 90 mm (height)
• Intended substrate: wood materials

How to use

Select an appropriate pilot hole size if required for the wood density and thickness to avoid splitting. Position the screw/bolt at the joining point and drive it using a compatible screwdriver or power tool with the correct bit or socket, applying steady pressure until secure. For load-bearing connections, ensure fasteners are spaced and aligned according to structural requirements and that mating components are supported during installation.

Recommendations

Store the screws/bolts in a dry environment to maintain the zinc finish. For outdoor or highly humid applications, consider additional corrosion protection or alternative stainless-grade fasteners. Always use appropriate personal protective equipment and follow standard fastening practices for wood to ensure safe and durable results.
