Vmesniška kartica EXSYS EX-41052-2

The EXSYS EX-41052-2 is an internal PCI/PCI-X serial interface card that provides two RS-232 ports using high-performance 16C550-type UARTs. Designed for PCs, thin clients and servers, the card expands available COM ports and supports Plug-and-Play installation. It uses the MosChip MCS9865IV-AA chipset and supplies both +5V and +12V on the 9-pin connectors for POS or other powered serial devices. The card is WHQL-, FCC- and CE-certified and is compatible with a range of Windows operating systems.

Advantages

The EX-41052-2 offers two reliable RS-232 channels with 16C550-compatible UARTs for broad device compatibility and stable serial communication. Its PCI/PCI-X interface ensures straightforward integration into many desktop and server systems, while full Plug-and-Play support simplifies installation. Onboard power delivery (+5V and +12V) on the DB9 connectors allows direct connection of POS peripherals that require power from the serial port. WHQL, FCC and CE certifications confirm compliance with industry standards.

Suitable for

• Adding serial COM ports to desktop PCs and workstations
• Connecting POS terminals, barcode scanners and receipt printers that use RS-232
• Thin clients and servers requiring additional serial interfaces
• Legacy industrial equipment and instrumentation with RS-232 interfaces

How to use

Install the card into an available PCI or PCI-X slot on a powered-down computer, secure it to the chassis, and power on the system. Allow the operating system to detect the card and install drivers; if necessary, load vendor drivers compatible with the MosChip MCS9865IV-AA chipset for your Windows version. Connect RS-232 devices to the DB9 connectors, observing correct pinouts and verifying whether the peripheral requires the provided +5V/+12V supply. Configure COM port settings (baud rate, parity, data bits, stop bits) in the host application or device manager as required.

Recommendations

The card is intended for internal installation in desktop, thin client or server systems. Use shielded serial cables and secure chassis grounding for reliable communication in electrically noisy environments. Verify driver compatibility for your specific Windows version before deployment and confirm whether connected peripherals accept power from the DB9 connector to avoid accidental damage.
