Zaščita kabla pletena cev DeLOCK 18897

The DeLOCK 18897 braided sleeving is a fire-resistant cable insulation sleeve designed to protect and organise cables, electrical tubes and wires. Made from rubber and silicone and supplied in red, the sleeving measures 2 m in length with a maximum expandable diameter of 1.4 cm and a minimum diameter of 1.0 cm, providing a protective layer that helps reduce wear and exposure to dirt and damage.

Advantages

This sleeving offers heat-resistant protection for cables and wiring, improves cable routing and bundling for neater installations, and provides an insulating barrier that reduces abrasion and contamination. Its flexible braided construction allows easy fitting over cables of varying diameters while maintaining mechanical resilience.

Suitable for

• Insulating and protecting power and signal cables
• Bundling exposed wires and electrical tubes
• Use in workshops, server cabinets and industrial equipment
• Areas where heat resistance and abrasion protection are required

Key specifications

• Brand: DELOCK
• Model / MPN: 18897

• Length: 2 m
• Diameter: min 1.0 cm — max 1.4 cm (expandable braided sleeving)
• Material: Rubber, Silicone
• Colour: Red

How to use

Measure the run of cables to determine the required sleeving length and cut the sleeving to size. Compress the braided sleeve slightly and slide it over the cable bundle or thread individual wires through before releasing so the braid expands to fit. Secure the ends with heat-shrink tubing, cable ties or electrical tape as needed to prevent fraying and ensure a neat finish.

Recommendations

For optimal protection, avoid exposing the sleeving to direct flames or prolonged contact with sharp edges. Choose an appropriate sleeving diameter so the braid can expand without excessive strain; secure ends to prevent unraveling and inspect periodically for wear in high-temperature or high-abrasion environments.
