Zidarsko dleto Cimco 130022

The Cimco 130022 masonry chisel is a hand tool designed for controlled masonry and stonework tasks. Manufactured from chromium-vanadium steel, it provides wear resistance and structural strength for repeated striking. The tool features a flat chisel tip with a 26 mm cutting edge and an overall length of 250 mm, supplied as a single unit suitable for workshop or on-site use.

Advantages

Chromium-vanadium steel construction increases toughness and resistance to deformation under impact. The 26 mm flat cutting edge allows for precise removal of mortar, shaping of masonry joints and detail work on brick or stone surfaces. The 250 mm length gives a balance between reach and control for hand-held chiselling. A single-pack delivery makes it simple to add the tool to an existing kit or to replace a worn chisel.

Suitable for

• Removing mortar and cleaning joints between bricks
• Shaping and trimming bricks, blocks and stone elements
• Precise chiselling work in renovation and repair tasks
• General masonry detail work where a flat chisel tip is required

Key specifications

• Material: chromium-vanadium steel
• Cutting edge width: 26 mm (flat tip)
• Total length: 250 mm
• Tool type: masonry/brick chisel
• Pack quantity: 1 piece

How to use

Position the flat chisel tip against the work surface and strike the chisel head with a suitable hammer, applying controlled blows to remove mortar or shape masonry. For horizontal or vertical joints, use shallow, steady strikes and work along the joint to avoid excessive material removal. Maintain a firm grip on the chisel shank and keep the chisel angle appropriate for the task: more acute angles for splitting or deeper cuts, and flatter angles for surface trimming. Use eye protection and other appropriate personal protective equipment when striking the chisel.

Recommendations

Inspect the chisel for chips or burrs before use and dress the cutting edge with a file if necessary to maintain a clean, sharp face. Store the chisel in a dry place to reduce corrosion risk. Use with suitably rated striking tools and avoid using the chisel on hardened steel or materials that exceed its intended masonry applications.
