Brúsilni kolut KWB 491422 5 kosov

Sanding lattice made of fibreglass mesh with a synthetic-resin bond and silicon carbide grit, featuring a velour reverse. The KWB 491422 set contains 5 sanding discs designed for durable, universal use and offers up to four times the lifetime compared to conventional aluminium oxide abrasive paper. The abrasive mesh can be shaken clean or rinsed under running water and is suitable for use with extraction systems.

Advantages

The fibreglass mesh construction provides high durability and tear resistance while the silicon carbide grit ensures effective material removal and a homogeneous finish. Velour backing allows secure attachment to hook-and-loop sanding pads. The open mesh design reduces clogging, can be cleaned easily by shaking or rinsing, and extends service life compared with standard abrasive paper.

How to use

Attach a disc to a compatible hook-and-loop sanding pad on your sander. Start sanding at low speed and increase as needed while keeping the tool moving to avoid excessive material removal or uneven spots. For best results on fillers and rough areas, use progressive grits until the desired smoothness is achieved. If the mesh clogs, remove the disc and clean by shaking or rinsing under running water; allow to dry completely before reusing.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (eye protection, dust mask and gloves). When working with painted or rusted surfaces, use dust extraction where possible and select the grit grade suited to the task for efficient results and extended disc life.
