Brúsni list KWB 493470 12 kosov

The KWB 493470 sanding discs come in a pack of 12 and are designed for efficient material removal and surface finishing. Each disc measures 107 x 175 mm and features an aluminium oxide abrasive coated on a phenolic resin bond with a robust backing and hook-and-loop fabric attachment. These punched discs are suitable for detail sanders and intended for use on wood, metal, painted and varnished surfaces, filler, stone and various plastics.

Advantages

The aluminium oxide abrasive provides consistent cutting performance and longer life on both soft and hard substrates. The phenolic resin bond maintains abrasive integrity under heat and pressure, while the strong backing improves tear resistance during intensive use. Hook-and-loop fabric backing enables quick and secure attachment and removal from compatible sanders, and the punched design helps with dust extraction and cooling for a more uniform finish.

How to use

Ensure your detail sander is compatible with 107 x 175 mm hook-and-loop sanding discs. Clean the sander pad of dust and debris, then align a disc and press it onto the pad until it attaches securely. Start sanding at low speed to check compatibility and gradually increase pressure and speed as needed. Move the sander evenly across the surface to avoid gouging; for paint and varnish removal use progressive grit steps where appropriate. Replace the disc when abrasive performance declines or the backing becomes damaged.

Recommendations

For best results use the KWB 493470 discs in a progression from coarser to finer grits suited to the task, keep the sanding surface and pad clean to maintain consistent contact, and use appropriate personal protective equipment such as eye protection and a dust mask when sanding metal, paint, or stone.
