How to use

Hold the paring chisel with a firm but controlled grip on the rubberised handle. Position the blade bevel against the wood grain when removing thin shavings for smooth results. Use your free hand to support and guide the workpiece when necessary. For paring, use long, steady strokes and allow the blade edge to do the cutting rather than applying excessive force.

Recommendations

Keep the blade sharp and store the chisel in a protective sleeve or roll to preserve the edge. Avoid striking the handle with a metal hammer; use a wooden mallet if heavier impacts are required. Clean and oil the steel blade periodically to prevent corrosion.
