Kabel FireWire A/A DeLOCK 2,0 m, siv

The DeLOCK FireWire A/A Cable (2.0 m, Grey) is a 2‑meter cable with male 4‑pin connectors on both ends for connecting FireWire (IEEE 1394) devices to a computer with a 6‑pin FireWire port. It is intended for linking camcorders, external enclosures and other FireWire peripherals to a PC or Mac supporting a 6‑pin FireWire interface.

Advantages

This FireWire A/A cable delivers a straightforward wired connection with a standard 4‑pin to 6‑pin topology. Its 2 m length offers flexibility for desktop or home‑office setups, and the grey jacket provides a neutral appearance. The male connectors on both ends ensure compatibility with typical FireWire device and host ports and support fast data transfer rates offered by FireWire interfaces.

Suitable for

• Connecting camcorders with 4‑pin FireWire ports to computers with 6‑pin FireWire
• Linking external FireWire enclosures to a PC or Mac
• Transferring large media files between FireWire devices and a computer

How to use

Identify the 4‑pin FireWire connector on your device (for example a camcorder or external enclosure) and the 6‑pin FireWire port on your computer. Firmly insert the 4‑pin end into the device and the 6‑pin end into the computer’s FireWire port. Ensure both connectors are fully seated before powering the devices. Use the cable to transfer data or stream video as supported by your devices and software.

Recommendations

Use the cable within its 2 m length limit to avoid signal degradation. Avoid sharp bends and heavy pulling on the cable, and keep connectors clean and free of debris. If your computer lacks a 6‑pin FireWire port, use an appropriate adapter or PCIe/Thunderbolt FireWire card recommended by the computer manufacturer.
