Kabelski adapter DeLOCK 65484

This adapter by Delock connects to a Sub-D 25 pin port to change the gender of the connection while protecting the original interface from wear. The Cable Gender Changer DeLOCK 65484 uses two Sub-D 25 connectors with nickel-plated contacts and a blue-and-silver housing to provide a durable and reliable mechanical extension for Sub-D 25 ports.

Advantages

The gender changer features nickel-plated contacts that improve contact durability and reduce corrosion. Its compact design provides a simple mechanical extension of a Sub-D 25 port without soldering or rewiring, and the blue and silver finish gives a clear visual distinction of the adapter.

Suitable for

• Converting between male and female Sub-D 25 connections
• Extending or protecting legacy Sub-D 25 ports on computers and industrial equipment
• Temporary connections during testing, maintenance, or device configuration

How to use

Align the adapter with the Sub-D 25 port on your device or cable and insert it until the connector seats firmly. Use the adapter as a direct coupling between a male and a female Sub-D 25 connector or as a short mechanical extension to protect the original port during frequent connections. No tools or wiring changes are required; ensure secure mounting to prevent strain on the connected ports.

Recommendations

Use the adapter in dry, dust-free environments and avoid excessive mechanical stress or bending at the connection point. For long-term or mission-critical applications, verify contact integrity periodically and replace the adapter if signs of wear or contact degradation appear.
