Kabelski adapter ShiverPeaks BS13-40001 USB Type-C

The ShiverPeaks BS13-40001 USB Type-C cable gender changer enables direct connection between two USB Type-C cables or devices where a matching plug is required. Its compact inline adapter in black provides a simple mechanical solution for reversing or matching USB Type-C connectors without re-cabling, allowing continued use of existing chargers, data cables, and accessories.

Advantages

The adapter offers a low-profile, symmetrical USB Type-C to USB Type-C interface that preserves cable routing and minimizes bulk. Built with standard USB Type-C connectors and a durable outer shell in black, it is designed for reliable physical connection and repeated insertion cycles. Its neutral polarity design allows easy orientation and quick setup, reducing the need for additional adapters or cable replacements.

Suitable for

• Connecting two USB Type-C cables to extend reach or change connector orientation
• Adapting between device and cable when both ends use USB Type-C plugs
• Temporary or travel use where carrying multiple cable types is impractical

Key specifications

• Connector types: USB Type-C to USB Type-C
• Colour: Black
• Form factor: Inline gender changer / coupler
• Mechanical compatibility: Standard USB Type-C plug dimensions and pin layout

How to use

Insert the USB Type-C plug of the first cable or device into one side of the adapter and connect the second USB Type-C plug into the opposite side. Ensure both plugs are fully seated to establish a secure connection. The adapter functions passively; no driver installation or power is required. Confirm device operation and data/power transfer according to the capabilities of the connected cables and devices.

Recommendations

Use the gender changer with cables and devices that share compatible USB Type-C power and data specifications. Avoid forcing connectors at an angle to prevent damage. For high-current charging or specific data protocols (e.g., USB Power Delivery, Thunderbolt), verify that connected cables and devices support the required specifications before extended use.
