Krčljiva cev DeLOCK 19979

The DeLOCK 19979 heat shrink tube is made of polyolefin and is designed to insulate and protect cables, electrical tubes and wires. When heat is applied the sleeve shrinks and wraps tightly around the cable, providing mechanical protection and resistance to environmental influences. An inner adhesive layer bonds to the shrunk cable or wire to ensure a sealed fit. The product comes in a practical dispenser box that keeps the tubing clean, allows neat storage and enables easy unrolling and individual cutting.

Advantages

The polyolefin construction provides durable electrical insulation and mechanical protection while the inner adhesive ensures a secure, sealed connection after shrinking. The black colour offers a discrete finish for installations. The dispenser box simplifies transport, storage and handling, keeping the tubing free of dirt and dust and allowing controlled dispensing.

Suitable for

• Insulating and protecting electrical wires and cable joints
• Sealing connections against moisture and contaminants
• Workshop repairs, DIY electronics and industrial cable routing
• Organising and protecting wire bundles in equipment or installations

How to use

Slide an appropriately sized piece of heat shrink tube over the cable or joint before making the connection. Apply heat evenly using a heat gun, hot air tool or suitable heat source until the tube shrinks and the inner adhesive flows to create a bond. Allow the assembly to cool so the tube sets firmly around the cable. Cut the tube to length from the dispenser box as needed and avoid overheating to prevent damage to the insulation or conductor.

Recommendations

Choose a shrink size that provides the correct final diameter for the cable or joint; ensure even heating and keep a safe distance with the heat source. For applications requiring specific electrical ratings or chemical resistance, verify that polyolefin material meets the required specifications.
