Microconnect USB3.0AAF20A kabel USB 20 m USB A, črn

The MicroConnect USB3.0AAF20A is a 20 m USB 3.2 Gen 1 active extension cable designed to extend USB connections for devices such as printers, cameras, video conferencing equipment and external hard disks. With an integrated signal booster it maintains stable high-speed data transfer up to 5 Gbit/s over the extended length, providing reliable connectivity where a longer cable run is required.

Advantages

This active USB cable supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 speeds up to 5 Gbit/s and includes an integrated booster to compensate for signal loss over the 20 m length. The cable is compatible with a wide range of USB devices (printers, storage devices, cameras and peripherals) and offers a single-cable solution for extended connections without requiring additional repeaters or active hubs.

Suitable for

• Extending connection to printers located away from a PC or workstation
• Connecting external hard drives and SSDs for data transfer at extended range
• Linking webcams and video-conferencing devices placed at a distance
• Connecting USB peripherals in environments where a longer cable run is needed

How to use

Connect the cable’s USB-A male end to the host device (PC, laptop or hub) and plug the USB-A female end to the peripheral device you want to extend, such as a printer or external drive. Ensure both ends are securely connected before transferring large files. No external power source is usually required thanks to the integrated booster, but verify device power requirements for high-current peripherals.

Recommendations

Use this cable for reliable data connections where a 20 m reach is necessary; avoid sharp bends and heavy strain on connectors. For high-current devices (some external drives or bus-powered peripherals) verify whether additional power or a powered USB hub is needed to ensure stable operation.
