Microconnect USBAB15B-ACTIVE kabel USB 2.0 15 m USB A USB B črn

The MicroConnect USBAB15B-ACTIVE is a 15 m active USB 2.0 cable with a USB A connector on one end and a USB B connector on the other. It is intended for connecting external USB devices with USB B sockets, such as scanners or printers, to a USB host (computer, notebook, hub or wall charger). The cable supports data transmission up to 0.48 Gbit/s and includes an integrated signal booster to prevent transmission loss over the extended length.

Advantages

The active design with an integrated booster maintains signal integrity over 15 metres, reducing errors and communication interruptions. Gold-plated contacts improve conductivity and corrosion resistance. The USB 2.0 compatibility ensures reliable connection with a wide range of peripherals that use USB B sockets. The black jacket provides a professional appearance and durable protection for repeated installation and movement.

Suitable for

• Connecting printers to computers or USB hubs over long distances
• Connecting scanners and other USB B devices in office environments
• Setups where the USB host is separated from the device by several metres

How to use

Connect the USB A plug to the USB host (computer, notebook, hub or wall charger) and the USB B plug to the external device (printer, scanner or other USB B peripheral). Ensure both devices are powered if required. The integrated booster is passive in use and requires no separate power source; once connected the cable will help maintain stable data transfer across the 15 m length. Verify device drivers and host settings if the device is not immediately recognised.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid sharp bends and kinks in the cable and keep it away from high-power electrical sources that may cause interference. Use this active USB 2.0 cable for peripherals that specifically use USB B connectors and require reliable connections over longer distances.
