The Herlitz maX.file Fresh Colour A4 ring binder in black is a sturdy document folder designed for everyday use in offices, schools and home workspaces. Constructed from robust, coated cardboard, it features a D-ring mechanism that holds punched documents securely while allowing smooth page turning. The slim profile and neutral black finish make it suitable for filing reports, project files and reference materials without taking up excessive shelf space.

Advantages

This ring binder combines a durable construction with a reliable D-ring system to minimize document movement and wear. The coated cardboard surface resists light scuffs and allows easy labelling on the spine. Its A4 format is compatible with standard punched paper and printed materials, and the design keeps contents flat for a professional appearance.

Suitable for

• Organising office reports and business documents
• Storing study materials and coursework for students
• Collecting reference sheets, manuals and technical documentation
• Preparing presentation folders and meeting packets

Key specifications

• Format: A4 suitable for standard punched paper
• Cover material: coated, rigid cardboard for durability
• Ring type: D-ring mechanism for even distribution of pages
• Colour: black with a slim spine for efficient shelf storage
• Capacity: fits a moderate number of punched sheets depending on paper thickness

How to use

Open the D-ring mechanism by lifting the actuator, insert punched sheets evenly onto the rings and close the mechanism to secure the pages. Place divider tabs or labelled inserts on the spine or inside covers to organise sections. Store the binder upright on a shelf or lay flat for transport. To remove pages, reopen the rings, slide pages off carefully and close the rings after adjusting contents.

Recommendations

Use standard A4 punched paper to ensure smooth operation of the D-ring mechanism. Avoid overfilling to prevent strain on the rings; distribute heavy documents across several binders if necessary. Clean the surface with a dry or slightly damp cloth and store in a dry environment to maintain the coated cardboard cover.
