Omrežni oddajnik in sprejemnik PLANET POE-E201

The PLANET POE-E201 is a compact network transmitter and receiver that extends both Gigabit Ethernet data and IEEE 802.3at/802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) beyond the standard 100 m limit. Designed for simple plug-and-play deployment, a single POE-E201 increases PoE reach to 200 m over Cat 5/5e/6 UTP cable, and multiple extenders can be daisy-chained to reach 300 m, 400 m or up to 500 m for longer installations. Housed in a small metal casing with two RJ-45 ports (PoE IN and PoE OUT), the device supports Gigabit data rates while forwarding power to powered devices without requiring a separate power supply.

Advantages

The POE-E201 provides high-power PoE forwarding together with Gigabit data extension in a compact, wall-mountable metal enclosure. It requires no configuration and works via plug-and-play, enabling cost-effective extension of PoE installations beyond the 100 m Ethernet limit. The device preserves data transmission performance while injecting DC power on the output port, and its small size (94 × 70 × 26 mm) and 2 RJ-45 ports simplify cabling and placement in network deployments.

Suitable for

• Extending PoE connections to IP cameras beyond 100 m
• Extending PoE to wireless access points in large campuses or public areas
• Connecting PoE IP phones and other remote PoE-powered devices
• Daisy-chaining to achieve long-distance PoE links for service providers

• PoE standards supported: IEEE 802.3af / 802.3at (power forwarding)
• Cable type: Cat 5 / 5e / 6 UTP
• Maximum extended reach: 200 m per extender; daisy-chainable up to 500 m (depending on number of units)
• Dimensions: 94 × 70 × 26 mm
• Weight: 0.197 kg
• Housing: metal, wall-mountable

How to use

Install the POE-E201 between a Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) such as a PoE switch or injector and the Powered Device (PD). Connect the PSE to the PoE IN RJ-45 port; connect the PD to the PoE OUT RJ-45 port. The unit injects DC power on the PoE OUT port while forwarding Gigabit Ethernet data transparently. For longer distances, place additional POE-E201 units in series (daisy-chain) between the PSE and PD according to required reach, ensuring each extender is connected with Cat 5/5e/6 cable.

Recommendations

Use high-quality Cat 5e or Cat 6 UTP cable for best performance and verify the power budget of your PSE when chaining multiple POE-E201 units. Observe maximum extension limits and test links after installation to confirm both data throughput and power delivery to the remote device.
