Omrežni oddajnik in sprejemnik PLANET POE-E304

PLANET POE-E304 is a compact PoE extender that converts one 95W IEEE 802.3bt (PoE++) input into four IEEE 802.3af/at Gigabit PoE output ports. It supports 10/100/1000 Mbps transmission over Cat5/5e/6 UTP cables and extends both Gigabit Ethernet data and PoE power beyond the standard 100 m (328 ft.) to up to 200 m, allowing additional PoE devices to be powered and connected without running extra cabling or using an external power adapter.

Advantages

The POE-E304 delivers up to 95 W from the PoE IN port and allocates a maximum of 65 W total to the four PoE OUT ports, enabling point-to-multipoint deployments with simultaneous data and power delivery. Its plug-and-play design requires no configuration, and the small metal enclosure with five RJ45 ports provides a space-saving solution for adding PoE ports and doubling the standard PoE range from 100 m to 200 m.

Suitable for

• Extending PoE cameras and access points beyond 100 m
• Small office or retail deployments that need additional PoE ports
• Point-to-multipoint PoE topologies without extra power adapters

Key specifications

• Model: PLANET POE-E304
• Port count: 1 PoE IN, 4 PoE OUT (5 × RJ45)
• PoE standard: IEEE 802.3bt (input), IEEE 802.3af/at (output)
• Maximum PoE input power: 95 W
• Maximum PoE budget to outputs: 65 W
• Data rates: 10/100/1000 Mbps
• Cable type and distance: Cat5/5e/6 UTP, extends up to 200 m
• Product colour: Blue
• Weight: 0.403 kg

How to use

Place the POE-E304 between a compatible PoE power source equipment (PSE) and the powered devices (PD). Connect the PSE to the PoE IN port using a Cat5/5e/6 cable and connect up to four PDs to the PoE OUT ports. The device injects DC power and forwards Ethernet data to the PDs while extending the transmission distance. No software configuration is required; the unit operates as a transparent inline extender.

Recommendations

To ensure reliable operation, verify that the PSE can supply sufficient PoE power (up to 95 W) and that the combined power demands of connected PDs do not exceed the 65 W PoE budget for outputs. Use Cat5e or Cat6 cables for best Gigabit performance and follow standard mounting and environmental guidelines for network equipment.
