Patch kabel Draka Comteq HP-FTP Cat6 rdeč 2m

The Draka Comteq HP-FTP Cat6 Patch cable in red, 2 m length, is a shielded Ethernet cable designed for high-speed data transmission in network environments. With F/UTP (foil shielded around twisted pairs, overall unshielded) construction and Category 6 performance, this cable supports reliable connectivity between switches, routers, patch panels and end devices while reducing external electromagnetic interference. The red jacket provides easy visual identification in patch bays and cable runs.

Advantages

F/UTP shielding helps suppress crosstalk and external interference for more stable signal integrity at higher frequencies. Category 6 specification enables transmission rates suitable for gigabit Ethernet and improved headroom for applications that demand higher bandwidth. The 2 m length offers flexibility for short connections in racks, wall outlets or desktop setups, while the colored outer jacket simplifies cable management and identification in multi-cable installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches and routers within a local area network (LAN)
• Patching between patch panels and network equipment in server rooms and closets
• Desktop and office workstation cabling where short, visible runs are needed
• Home network connections for broadband routers, media players and smart devices

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6 (Category 6) performance
• Shielding type: F/UTP (foil shield around twisted pairs)
• Length: 2 meters
• Color: Red outer jacket for easy identification
• Connector type: RJ45 terminated (8P8C) with standard pinout
• Application: Supports 1 Gbps Ethernet and typical Cat6 frequency range

How to use

Insert the RJ45 connector into the network ports of the devices to be connected, ensuring a firm click to confirm the latch is engaged. Use the 2 m patch cable to link patch panels to switches, connect desktop PCs to wall outlets, or join network equipment in racks where short, direct runs are required. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and keep it separated from strong sources of electromagnetic interference where possible. Check link lights on connected devices to confirm successful connection and negotiate desired network speed.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid routing the cable parallel to power lines and maintain bend radii greater than the cable diameter. Use the red color to mark critical circuits or designated network segments for easier maintenance and troubleshooting. Inspect connectors periodically for damage and replace the cable if shielding or jacket integrity is compromised.
