Patch kabel Draka Comteq HP-FTP Cat6 rdeč 5m

The Draka Comteq HP-FTP Cat6 patch cable in red, 5 meters long, is designed for reliable high-speed Ethernet connections. It uses F/UTP (foil-shielded twisted pair) construction to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting stable data transmission in structured cabling installations and point-to-point device links. The red jacket provides easy visual identification in patch panels and cable runs while maintaining the mechanical flexibility needed for residential, office, and data center use.

Advantages

This Cat6 HP-FTP patch cable combines shielded twisted-pair construction with quality materials to deliver consistent signal integrity at gigabit and multi-gigabit speeds. The foil shielding around the twisted pairs improves immunity to external noise sources and helps keep near-end and far-end crosstalk under control. Its 5 m length suits typical desk-to-switch connections and short rack patching, and the coloured outer jacket simplifies cable management and fault identification without compromising performance.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections in offices and homes
• Patch panel to switch or switch to device links
• Environments with moderate electromagnetic interference
• Structured cabling in small data closets and network racks

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6 (HP-FTP / F/UTP) shielding
• Length: 5 meters
• Conductor type: twisted pair copper conductors
• Outer jacket colour: red
• Connector type: RJ45 plug compatible with standard Ethernet ports
• Application: Ethernet networking up to gigabit and multi-gigabit speeds depending on network equipment
• Construction: foil-shielded pairs to reduce EMI and crosstalk

How to use

Connect one RJ45 plug of the patch cable to the Ethernet port of your device and the other plug to a network switch, router or wall outlet. For best performance ensure connectors are fully inserted and that the cable is not sharply bent or pinched; maintain bend radii recommended by network equipment guidelines. When installing in patch panels or racks, route the cable to avoid proximity to high-voltage power lines or strong EMI sources to preserve shielding effectiveness.

Recommendations

Use this HP-FTP Cat6 cable for short to medium patching runs where improved immunity to interference is required. Label both ends for straightforward identification in dense cabling environments and avoid running the cable parallel to mains power for extended distances to reduce potential noise pickup.
