3M prozoren lepilni trak 7000116655 – 55 m, primeren za zunanjo uporabo

3M 7000116655 Transparent Tape is a PET-based clear adhesive tape designed for bonding and sealing on metal and wood surfaces. The tape is specified for reliable performance across a wide temperature range from -40 °C to 121 °C and comes in a roll length of 55 m with a 12 mm working width and 0.127 mm thickness. Its transparent appearance and thin profile make it suitable where a discreet, durable bond is required.

Advantages

The tape offers stable adhesion to both metal and wood substrates and retains its properties in low and high temperature environments. Its thin construction provides a near-invisible finish while maintaining sufficient tensile strength for general-purpose holding and sealing. The clear backing resists yellowing and allows surface visibility, making it practical for applications where appearance matters.

How to use

Ensure bonding surfaces are clean, dry and free of dust, oils or contaminants. Cut the required length of tape and apply with firm pressure along the bond line to promote good contact with the substrate. For best results on vertical or load-bearing applications, support the assembly until adhesive has achieved full contact and the substrate temperature is within the specified operating range. When removing, peel back slowly at an angle to minimise residue; adhesion strength may increase with longer dwell times.

Recommendations

Store rolls in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. For critical or safety-related joints, perform a small test application on the actual substrates to confirm suitability and adhesion strength under intended service conditions.
