Tesarski kotnik Bahco 9045-B-300

The Bahco 9045-B-300 carpenter's square is a compact steel layout tool designed for accurate right-angle measurements and marking in woodworking and general carpentry. The tool combines a 31 cm square blade with a 17 cm tongue to provide a stable reference for checking squareness, scribing lines, and transferring measurements. Its black finish improves contrast for visible markings and helps protect the steel surface against wear.

Advantages

Constructed from durable steel, this carpenter's square delivers consistent dimensional stability and resists bending under normal workshop use. The combination of a longer blade and shorter tongue offers versatility for both larger panels and tighter joints while maintaining a lightweight profile at approximately 200 g for easy handling. The black finish enhances readability of pencil or scribe lines and contributes to surface protection, extending service life in everyday carpentry tasks.

Suitable for

• Checking and marking 90° angles on timber and sheet materials
• Transferring measurements and scribing layout lines
• Use as a guide for saw cuts or router edge referencing
• Compact jobsite use where portability and quick checks are required

Key specifications

• Material: steel construction for strength and stability
• Blade length: 31 cm (square blade)
• Tongue length: 17 cm
• Weight: approximately 200 g for light handling
• Surface finish: black coating for contrast and corrosion resistance

How to use

Place the square with the inner corner against the workpiece corner to verify or mark a true 90° angle. Use the long blade to scribe parallel lines along edges or the tongue for marking shorter edges and joints. When transferring measurements, align the reference edge, hold the square firmly to prevent slip, and mark through the appropriate edge with a pencil or scribe. For repetitive layout work, keep the square flat against the surface and re-check alignment periodically to maintain accuracy.

Recommendations

Store the square in a dry place and wipe clean after use to preserve the black finish. Avoid heavy hammering on the tool and do not use it as a pry bar to prevent deformation. For the most accurate results, use a sharp pencil or marking knife and ensure the square is fully seated against the workpiece before making marks.
