Pila Bahco ERGO 4-140-08-1-2

The Bahco ERGO 4-140-08-1-2 is a flat bastard cut mill saw file with dual-component ergonomic handle and two round edges, designed for efficient material removal on metal and other hard surfaces. With a working width of 20 mm, height (thickness) of 3.5 mm and a lightweight construction of 160 g, this file combines precise cutting performance with comfortable handling for extended use.

Advantages

The ERGO dual-component handle improves grip and reduces hand fatigue during prolonged operations. The bastard cut teeth provide rapid material removal while maintaining a controlled finish. Two rounded edges allow more flexibility when working along contours or when partial edge access is required. Compact dimensions and low weight make the file easy to position and manoeuvre in tight or detailed work.

For faster stock removal, use the full length of the file; for finer finishing, use lighter strokes and check the surface frequently. Keep the file clean of swarf to maintain cutting efficiency.

Recommendations

For safety and best results, wear appropriate eye protection and gloves, clamp the workpiece firmly, and use the file only for materials and tasks consistent with a bastard cut mill saw file. Regularly clean the file with a wire brush to preserve tooth performance.
